Homemade Fat Bombs

The name sounds suspiciously ominous if you don’t know what fat bombs are, but most people that try one love them. They satisfy our sweet cravings with their chocolaty  goodness and they are full of nutritious fats, yet free of the types of sweeteners that cause our bodies grief. We’re showing you homemade candy at it’s simplest.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup melted Nutiva Coconut Oil
  • 1/3 cup Justin’s Almond Butter
  • 1/4 tsp. Sweet Leaf Liquid Stevia
  • 1/4 tsp. Flav-organics Vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup melted Minerva Grass-fed Butter

Directions:

Just stir together these five ingredients with a hand mixer, then refrigerate 1 to 2 tbsp. portions of the mixture in candy molds or ice trays for at least 1 hour before trying to take them out of the molds. Store them in the fridge in a tightly closed container to prevent them from melting.

For a variation, you can substitute coconut for the almond butter and/or add some peppermint extract instead of vanilla.
